Tooth Fairy!!!
Three classes came together in a room! But why? Of course for the tooth fairy :) A tooth fairy came and visited us this week. She advised us to brush our teeth twice in a day so as to have white and healthy teeth. She had two helpers :) They were Berkay and Lara who dressed up like happy and sad teeth. Their friends brushed the foods that stuck to them. In the end, they were whiter and healthier and of course happier :) :) :)

Ok, we talked about dental health, how to take care of our teeth... But when it comes to a conversation about teeth, tooth fairies are always mentioned :)After watching "Peppa Pig: Tooth Fairy" video and talking about tooth fairies, we designed our own fairies ;)

Story and online activity
We all knew that we should take bath at least twice in a week for our health. We watched the story of a stubborn baby who doesn't want to take a bath :) Then we did the online activity of this story.

Station Time
We talked about dental health in red station this week. We prepared our own marshmallow teeth :) We used two slices of apple as our lips and put some marshmallows between them as our white teeth. In the end we ate them all:) Of course, on condition that we're going to brush our teeth when we go home!!!

Healthy & Unhealthy Foods
As our theme for this week was "health", we talked about health generally. Accordingly we had a conversation on healthy and unhealthy foods. We all agreed that if we eat healthy foods, we feel stronger and grow up quickly and healthily. In parallel with this conversation we grouped the foods as "healthy" or "unhealthy".
Then we read the books "Cat and Dog: The Super Snack" and "Lunch with Cat and Dog" related to our theme.

Jelly Bean Jumble
Close your eyes and congest your nose now! How does the jelly bean taste? Strawberry, green apple, orange... We had three bags in which there were different jelly beans. We tasted one jelly from each bag and tried to know its taste! Everybody gave answers different from each other; but we had a common thought that they were all so delicious ;)

"My Five Senses" Story
We read "My Five Senses" story and learned that we can hear with our ears, smell with our nose, feel with our skin, see with our eyes and taste with our tongue!

Body Twister Game
We learned parts of the body and "right" & "left" concepts. Now it's time to have some fun! We put our left/right hand/foot/knee on correct picture according to the spinner. We all became tangled in the end :)
